Managing Seasonal Allergies
Managing Seasonal Allergies with Herbs (Hands-On Workshop)
April 25th | 1:00 PM EST | Live Online
Join us for a focused, hands-on virtual workshop centered on managing seasonal allergies using practical, evidence-informed herbal approaches. This session is designed to help you better understand how the body responds to seasonal triggers and how to support those responses with well-selected herbs and preparations.
Seasonal allergies can present as sinus congestion, sneezing, itchy eyes, throat irritation, and skin sensitivity. In this workshop, we’ll take a grounded look at how herbs can be used to support respiratory function, modulate immune response, and reduce overall discomfort during peak allergy seasons.
This is an interactive session where you will not only learn the “why” behind herbal choices, but also actively prepare remedies you can begin using right away.
An herbal kit will be shipped to you with your class purchase, allowing you to fully participate in each hands-on portion without needing to source materials on your own.
What We’ll Cover
Understanding seasonal allergies and common triggers
How the body responds to allergens (respiratory and immune response)
Key herbs used for allergy support (antihistamine, anti-inflammatory, and soothing actions)
Safety considerations and proper use of herbal preparations
How to build a simple, effective seasonal allergy support protocol
Hands-On Remedy Making
During this workshop, we will prepare three supportive herbal remedies commonly used during allergy season. These may include:
An herbal tea blend for daily support
A sinus steam or herbal inhalation for congestion relief including herbal inhalers for an added bonus!
A soothing preparation such as a syrup, oxymel, or glycerite for ongoing use
You’ll gain hands-on experience making each preparation, along with clear guidance on how and when to use them effectively.
Participation
All core materials will be included in your shipped herbal kit. Additional optional items or tools may be suggested to enhance your experience.
This workshop is ideal for herbalists, students, and anyone looking for a practical, informed approach to managing seasonal allergies with herbs.
